Integrative Massage Concepts of Charlotte Inc. was founded in 2005. It is owned and operated by Dorothea Weinschuetz. Our practice is offering thoughtful, individualized manual therapy grounded in experience, education, and clinical skill. For over two decades, we have been committed to providing high-quality care that supports healing, restores function, and respects each client's unique needs.
Dorothea graduated in 2003 from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy and is national Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB), as well as state licensed (LMBT#04478) in North Carolina since February 2004. She brings a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and hands-on therapeutic techniques to every session. She also graduated as Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in Sebastian,FL in 2011, which allows her to treat clients with Lymphedema and Lipedema. Her credentials and advanced training include Post-operative Therapy, Scar Tissue Therapy, John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Therapy (JFB MFR®) since 2018, CranioSacral Therapy, Cupping Therapy and Graston® Technique (Instrument-Assisted-Soft-Tissue Mobilization) to just name a few.
Ongoing education is a core part of our practice, ensuring that therapy remains current, evidence-informed, and appropriate for clients with medical and surgical considerations.

Matthias Weinschuetz joined Integrative Massage Concepts of Charlotte Inc. in 2015 after a career in the textile field that spanned over 30 years and 3 different continents. Utilizing his textile background, it was at that time that the practice added compression garments to its scope and built its reputation and competency in the field of medical compression as an added service to its clientele. As the need for additional modalities within the practice evolved, he became very interested in energy related therapy work and decided to join as a therapist.
Matthias is a National Board Certified Reflexologist (ARCB B01797) and graduated from the Academy of Reflective Wellness with emphasis on Western Reflexology as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine Meridian Therapy.
He is a professional member of the North Carolina Reflexology Association (NCRA).
He is available throughout the week by appointment only and is currently accepting new clients.
